Lights Festival Fine Art Bridal session, Grandview, Tx

It was another day in our Photography studio located in North Fort Worth, Texas and we were itching to do a bridal shoot! At IGOR Photography we are always trying to do something different whether it is at a wedding, portrait session or an event, just a little out of the box with creativity and our own personal style and editing .

It was while scrolling through social media, when my fiancé and I saw this lights festival coming to the Dallas area. Initially we were going to buy tickets for ourselves, it would make for an interesting date night right? Why not make a date night especially tailored for us, a styled bridal shoot it is!

We headed to our favorite bridal boutique located in Burleson, and found the wedding gown and veil that would complete this mini bridal shoot. Featured below: Enza by Maggie Sottero designs. A wedding dress with layered tulle-train and an embezzled belt to accent the waist. To that we added a beautiful cathedral length wedding veil with crystal edge. What a stunning combination!

Now, let's light the Sky! Our bride Sheridan, was a lovely sight to see. The lanterns weren't the only thing to light the sky that night as many people congratulated her with lighted torches and complimented her beauty, we played with perspective & depth of the many lanterns being set a sail to drift in the night air. It was an amazing fairy tale sight, a beautiful experience!

Technically and logistically this light festival bridal shoot was pretty demanding. We had to carefully set up the right flash lighting to light her up at night without overpowering the glowing light from the lanterns, that was important because we didn't want to kill that beautiful and magically lighted mood. Another even harder challenge was to time the exposures while avoiding capturing to many people walking around the bride. Like photographing a wedding, we had to get it right the first time, we really didn't have time to do any retakes, but with careful planning and execution we got exactly the shot that we had envision, and we had so much fun doing it!

This fine art bridal shoot for IGOR wedding photography, was a great way to capture the essence of what we love to do in a structured setting and on your wedding day, there are endless possibilities.

Fort Worth Water Gardens - A Modern Bridal Session

Looking for the perfect modern location for your Engagement or Bridal portrait session? Be inspired by the Fort Worth Water Gardens, an unique urban park and fee free location with a variety of photo backdrops to choose from.

Featured here is our beautiful bride to be Danielle, the elegance of her bridal gown was able to be showcased with the simple backgrounds of the Fort Worth Gardens - at the quiet, "blue meditation pool" that is encircled with cypress trees and towering walls and at the "aerating pool" that features multiple illuminated spray fountains under a canopy of large oak trees, and because at Igor Wedding Photography we love to incorporate modern lines and beautiful architecture as well, the pools, concrete walls and the vertical depth of the stairs added a dramatic, yet modern flair to her bridal photos.

We would love to talk to you about any ideas , locations or any questions you may have, The limit is never to far, we like to be pushed outside the box of creativity. Contact us soon about your upcoming bridal portraits, engagement session or wedding, let's make something special together.

Classy Bridal Photography in Fort Worth

This is a classic and dramatic bridal session with Niloo in downtown Fort Worth. We got some amazing photos during a cold winter day. I love shooting bridal portraits and bring out the beauty and personality of the bride. I took the freedom to create a dramatic stormy sky on one of the photos since we had a pretty dull overcast day.

Sneak peak of my latest bridal photography at the 7th St Bridge in downtown Fort Worth with beautiful Shailaun. We had a great time shooting this urban and modern session at night. Shailaun was terrific and so was make up artist Shay and assistant Daniel. I'm very happy with the results of this session, what do you think? Stay tuned for more photos and a short video from this photo session!

Fort Worth bride photography - Sexy in the city bride

As promised here is last weeks bridal session!

What better day than on a beautiful April spring night to have a bridal shoot in downtown Fort Worth. We decided to do a night shoot by Fort Worth's Sundance Square. The theme was "sexy in the city bride", with a moody and a little darker urban feeling.

What a blast, it was a fantastic night and I had a great time working with Kate, my assistant Daniel and hair/makeup artist Micaela.

I'm very happy with the outcome, it turned out exactly how I had envision it. What do you think?
